Solar Backup Power 24V is a 24-volt solar backup power system, which is mainly used to store the excess power generated by the solar power system and supply power to the load when needed, which can ensure the continuity and stability of power supply, and is often used in scenarios such as off-grid solar systems. Here's how it works:
System Composition:
Solar panels: Convert solar energy into direct current, providing an energy source for the entire system.
Charge controller: It is used to regulate the amount of charge entering the battery pack, prevent the battery from overcharging or discharging, and prolong the battery life.
24V battery pack: It is the core component of energy storage, which is used to store the electricity generated by solar panels to power the load when there is insufficient sunlight or at night. Common types of batteries are lead-acid batteries, gel batteries, lithium batteries, etc.
Inverter: Converts the direct current output of the battery pack into alternating current to meet the needs of various AC electrical equipment.
Battery type and features:
Gel battery: It is a maintenance-free lead-acid battery, which does not need to add water, has a life span of about 5 years, small internal resistance and high output power. It is completely sealed, no leakage and acid gas overflow problems, small self-discharge, less than 3.5% per month, stable performance, and also has the characteristics of corrosion resistance, deep discharge recovery ability, etc., can be used in any direction, easy to transport.
Lithium batteries: Lithium iron phosphate batteries, for example, have a higher energy density and can be reduced by about 2/3 compared to lead-acid batteries. It has a long service life of more than 5,000 deep cycles, a life of about 10 years, and virtually maintenance-free. The built-in battery management system (BMS) can prevent the battery from overcharging, overdischarging, overloading, overheating and short circuit, with high safety, and can also be recycled, which is environmentally friendly.
