The 210A Charge/Discharge Split Phase Hybrid Inverter is a core device designed for high-power energy storage systems, and its core advantage is the combination of ultra-wide current handling capability and split-phase topology, especially suitable for home energy storage, commercial microgrids and off-grid power systems. The following describes the technical characteristics, core advantages, typical applications and market dynamics:
Market Trends & Technological Developments
In 2025, the 210A split-phase hybrid inverter market will exhibit the following trends:
Sodium-ion battery adaptation: With the cycle life of sodium-ion batteries exceeding 5,000 cycles (e.g., Biwatt PowerNest-R3), inverter manufacturers are optimizing BMS compatibility to maximize their 210A charging and discharging capabilities at a low temperature of -30°C.
Integration of photovoltaic and diesel storage: Some models (such as Flextron Electric's VHS series) have added a diesel generator interface to realize the multi-source complementarity of "photovoltaic diesel storage" and ensure the continuity of power supply in areas with unstable power grids.
VPP (Virtual Power Plant) Integration: Brands such as DEYE support the integration of inverters to the VPP platform through open API interfaces, participate in grid peak shaving, and obtain additional revenue.
The 210A Charge/Discharge Split Phase Hybrid Inverter is becoming the core equipment of distributed energy systems through high current handling capabilities, split-phase flexibility, and intelligent energy management, driving the process of energy autonomy in homes and commercial scenarios.
Split Phase Hybrid Inverter is an advanced, high-performance energy solution designed for North American residential solar systems. With support for 120/240V split-phase, 208V (2/3 phase), and 230V single-phase output, this hybrid inverter provides outstanding compatibility and versatility. Featuring four MPPT trackers, up to 210A charge/discharge capacity, and a wide battery voltage range (40–58V), it ensures reliable power delivery and efficient energy storage. The Split Phase Hybrid Inverter also includes Wi-Fi monitoring, CAN/RS485 communication, and seamless EPS backup with <20ms switching—making it ideal for grid-tied, off-grid, and backup applications. Built to last with transformer isolation and IP65 protection, it comes with a standard 10-year warranty.
PWM controller: It consists of the following functions: internal reference voltage, error amplifier, oscillator and PWM, over-voltage protection, under-voltage protection, short-circuit protection, output transistor.
DC conversion: The voltage conversion circuit is composed of MOS switch and energy storage inductor, and the input pulse is amplified by the push-pull amplifier to drive the MOS tube to switch and switch, so that the DC voltage charges and discharges the inductor, so that the other end of the inductor can get the AC voltage.
LC oscillation and output circuit: ensure the 1600V voltage required for lamp start-up, and reduce the voltage to 800V after lamp start-up.
Output voltage feedback: When the load is working, the feedback sampling voltage plays a role in stabilizing the voltage output of the inverter.
It works
The inverter converts direct current (battery, battery) into alternating current (generally 220v50HZ sinusoidal or square wave). In layman's terms, an inverter is a device that converts direct current (DC) into alternating current (AC). It consists of an inverter bridge, control logic, and filter circuitry.
