The 12kW Hybrid Inverter UPS is a multi-functional device that integrates the functions of solar inverter, energy storage management and uninterruptible power supply, and plays a key role in the integration and assurance of the energy system, as follows:
1. Solar power conversion and utilization
DC-AC Conversion: Efficiently converts direct current (DC) generated by solar photovoltaic panels into alternating current (AC) for direct use by domestic, commercial, or industrial loads, reducing dependence on grid power.
Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT): The built-in MPPT controller optimizes the output efficiency of the solar panels, ensuring that the maximum power generation is always captured under different lighting conditions, improving solar energy utilization.
2. Energy storage system management
Charge and discharge control: When connecting energy storage devices such as lithium batteries, the charging and discharging process of energy storage batteries can be intelligently controlled - the excess solar power is stored in the battery to avoid energy waste; In the event of insufficient light or at night, the power stored in the battery is automatically called up for power.
Protection of energy storage equipment: Through protection mechanisms such as overcharge, overdischarge, overcurrent, and short circuit, the service life of the energy storage battery is extended to ensure the safe and stable operation of the energy storage system.
3. Uninterruptible power supply (UPS) function
Seamless switching of power outages: When the power grid suddenly fails, the equipment can switch from "grid power supply mode" to "energy storage battery power supply mode" or "solar direct supply mode" in milliseconds, ensuring that important loads (such as refrigerators, medical equipment, servers, lighting, etc.) do not interrupt the power supply and avoid losses caused by power outages.
Stable voltage and frequency: When the voltage fluctuation and frequency instability of the power grid, stable alternating current is provided for the load through voltage stabilization and frequency stabilization processing, and sensitive equipment (such as computers and precision instruments) are protected from voltage impact damage.
4. Integration and optimization of multiple energy modes
Hybrid energy management: Coordinate the distribution of solar energy, power grid, and energy storage batteries, and realize the intelligent logic (customizable) of "solar energy first→ energy storage supplement→ grid bottom-up", maximize the use of clean energy, and reduce electricity costs.
Peak-to-valley price arbitrage: In areas that support peak-to-valley electricity prices, electricity can be charged into energy storage batteries from the grid during trough hours (low prices), and battery power can be used during peak hours (high prices) to reduce electricity costs.
5. Flexible switching between off-grid and on-grid connection
Grid-connected mode: Under normal circumstances, it is connected to the power grid, and the excess solar power can be reversely connected to the grid (if the policy allows) to achieve "power sales income"; At the same time, it can obtain power replenishment from the grid to meet high load demand.
Off-grid mode: In remote areas without grid coverage, it can completely rely on the solar energy storage system to operate independently to provide stable power for the load, which is suitable for scenarios such as rural areas and field operation bases.
